I’ve been busy for a long time + our computer suffered from damaged (brought mostly by me) + no internet connection = no time for blogging. Whew! Since I found time to blog again after those troubles, I’ll be sharing what I did earlier. Emblems! ^^
I really wanted to start a shop since more than a decade ago. It was in high school when I started collecting art supplies for my shop. At first, I wanted to make some clothing store because I really want to design shoes and bags… well because they are lovely… >.< Anyway, my clothing store evolved and changed after a long time. So, now I’ve decided to start a shop, which sells pure handmade items… mostly crochet since that’s what I’m good at (as of now), but I’m already practicing some other things (I’m evolving and developing too!!).
Back to the main topic (oh gosh! I’m really like this). I’ve been wanting to make my own emblem/logo for my shop, but I can’t find time and motivation to do so, probably because I’m too lazy… I just wish I can lessen this laziness. My mind keeps changing that I’m having difficulty what I should really choose. I’m actually spending most of my time browsing through Pinterest for some dose of inspiration, but unfortunately I cannot find any. Then this Tuesday or Wednesday, I’ve came across wrapping ideas using doilies. >.< They were amazing. So, I’ve decided to use doilies for my emblem/logo and for my packaging as well.
To all those people who made and pinned those cute little doilies (there are big ones too), thank you so much!! Because of that I can finally move on. >.<
I’m still at the building stage, so I still cannot be sure what my final emblem will be, but I made 4. And I’m positive I’ll be using them all… hehehehe…. I had some problems with what colors I should choose and the font (what a headache). Buy, anyway, I still made them somehow,
Here they are:
This is what I chose as my profile pic for my g-mail account. This really gives a vintage look, right? ^^ *happy dance*
I really want to make something cute that gives you a light feeling, but I ended up making this. I don’t know how. This one is quite classy looking, probably… ^^
I want to make something Victorian looking, but I’m not sure if this is the right Victorian look. And, because of this emblem, I’m starting to see the beauty of gray, but not all fifty shades of gray… hehehehe.
This is the last one I’ve created. I wanted to use pastel green, but I’m using MS Word, so my choices are just limited. T.T Once my shop becomes successful, I will definitely create better emblems.
This solves one of my worries. Next time I will be making my shop’s logo. By the way, the name of my shop is “Little Shop.” ^^ Next time, I’ll be posting why I ended with that name as well as my logo. >.<
